Just last month we purchased an '08 RAV 4. Our recent experience with the RAV 4 purchase has been extremely disappointing. We qualified for and used the 36 month - 0% financing option. We provided a canceled check and asked to sign up for automatic payments directly from our bank account. After noticing that 3 payments totaling 1200 had come out of our bank account but none were showing on Toyotafinancial.com, I called our dealer finance rep. After getting around the double-talk she finally admitted that National Payment Network was a 3rd-party handling our payments and we needed to contact them. At the time of buying the car, it was NEVER EVER mentioned to us that we were signing up for a 3rd party finance and certainly never mentioned that it would cost us $399. In fact, we specifically told Finance that we already had the money set aside but because Toyota was offering and we qualified for 36 months at 0%, we wanted our monthly payments to come out of the savings account directly. Of course, amongst the 30 documents we signed I fully am aware that they slipped in something authorizing National Payment Network and my wife signed it. However, Finance was not forthcoming about it and quite honestly, blatantly dishonest. The deceit shown in getting my wife's signature without alerting us to the $399 is infuriating. Toyota has lost our loyalty over a scam $399. Toyota Lustine had us unwittingly sign up for a service that we specifically said we do not. Her tactic of having me sign all the forms but then sliding that particular one to my 7 month pregnant wife, knowing she was less likely to read it over carefully, is outright deceitful. As an officer in the military there is nothing I value more than integrity. Toyota showed us that it does not value the same with their "partners". After such good experiences with the cars themselves, I am disappointed to have lost all trust in Toyota over $399 and a $35 commission. We will never again purchase a Toyota vehicle of any kind.

my toyota tacoma pre-runner has very soft brakes, this dealer refuses to admit the problem. thousands of customers are complaining about the brakes on this particular vehicle and all they can say is, operates as designed. the brakes on my 2009 tacoma pre runner are terrible. sometimes i can barely stop, sometimes i can barely accelerate. the more i drive the vehicle the worse it gets. the service department recognized the problem but refuses to document it correctly. their only response is that the vehicle operates as designed
