My Big Battery Died on my 2005 Prius. 123k miles. Was told at Dealership it was under warranty and would not cost me the $3300 to fix it. Hours later, was told by the dealership that the warranty only applies to California Prius'. So I contacted Toyota Care Center. They told me basically, Oh well..it's not covered." So I asked if my prius was made in the same plant as the california Prius'. They said ALL prius come from the same plant. So for some reason they give better warranties on the California Toyota vehicles than Texas. Something ab out their laws on emissions. So the exact same car made in the same place gets different treatment because of geography?!? After relaying this info back to Toyota they said," Sorry we could not be of more help to you". That was it. RIDICULOUS!

I have purchased my Toyota Camry 2007 on September 2007, few months ago I discovered that the front and back struts are leaking, I have called the Toyota Customer Experience and told them that I have driven the car in a normal road condition, mostly freeways, and how come that after 4 and half years such reputable car will have such repairs with good reason. They have told me they are sorry my car is past the warranty period and they can do nothing for me. How Toyota can claim that they have the best quality cars? The replacement of the struts are $856 for the front and the same for the rear. I can not beleive that buying a new car should have that kind of repair after 4 years.

The FJ Cruiser is the worst money I have ever spent. The license plate rattles all over my brand new truck like it is 15 years old. The truck does not perform at all in the winter and becomes nearly entirely useless. My dealer in Moline is 100% worthless and the dealer that sold me the truck should have been able to fasten a license plate to my truck but NOOOOOO that is way to dang hard for Toyota to figure out. TOYOTA SUCKS!

Ryan Segura

I would not suggest an FJ cruiser for anyone who intends on driving it in weather that is less than 30 degrees F. WHich is not very cold at all, many places in the world get much colder. My FJ has a serious problem with ice. At a mere 27 degrees F the entire tank holding all of the winsheild wiper fluid has turned to slush. I hav anti-freeze in there rated up to -50 degrees F. It does not matter, the way that the tank is positioned inside the motor is poorly engineered so that the wind blows up against it causing things to freez up more easily than any other car I have ever owned. Also, due to the funky winsheild they need 3 wiper blades. 3 wiper blades should be a warning that it is not going to work right. THe wiper blades are terribly complicated and have many moving parts on them in order to wipe the winsheild but those moving parts get so easily bound up with ice that the wiper blades are essentially uselss in an FJ cruiser under 30 degrees F. At every stop light you will need to get out and clear the ice
from them, even when you do the wipers still dont work right.

My complaint is not against the dealer, but Toyota Customer Service. The GPS on my 2010 Prius sucks. My 2005 was excellent, this one is inaccurate and runs you in circles.

After numerous calls, the case mgr at Toyota Hqs in Torrance, CA finally got back with me. Summary...was told the GPS functions as it was designed. Consequently I am stuck with an $1800 option that is unreliable. Am now having to go out and buy a mobile GPS that I can rely on.

I am totally disappointed and disillusioned with Toyota. They had better get their act together or they are going to lose even more market share than they already have

My vehicle is 2 years old, and granted my warranty is up, my sunroof seal is leaking. I find at least an inch of water on the floor of my backseat that I have to vacuum and basically sanatize constantly because of the musty smell. Also, the 6 disc cd player blew. These are things I find absolutely rediculous on such a new vehicle. I've called toyota multiple times on the issue and they are not willing to help at all. I would think that with all the bad publicity this company is currently dealing with, they would work a little harder to make the customers who are actually making an effort to stay with them happier, before they have yet another class action lawsuit on their hands.

I bought a brand new rav 4 in the year 2007 2 years I noticed my car was going pushing to go faster then I was .Then one day while on the highway with the grand kids the car started slowing down while I was in traffic with other cars at 65 miles per hour. the car would not go into gear finally I got to a gas station had to leave the car there and have toyota pick up the car 3 days later and after a fews day .I get the news that my brand new 2007 rav 4 needed a new transmission. I cant see why a car with only two years need a new transmission .now with a new transmission the car still does not work right .this car has been nothing but a NIGHTMARE for me and my family I will never buy a toyota ever again !! Also their customer service Sucks.

nancy

I have taken my car back to toyota (3) times last year and 1 this year for defective warrantly problems.. last year toyota left the oil cap off after service oil spill all inside my engine. I have been dealing problems every since. Now my car is in the shop again this will not accomodate me. for the inconvenience I am very unhappy with toyota

Due to snowy conditions in Wilmington, DE a plastic guard on underneath of Toyota Prius was torn from wheel well and underbody. Prius was rented from Enterprise Auto Rentals. Our company owns a Toyota Yaris and a Toyota Camry. Both of these vehicles retained the same damage from the recent snowstorm. Enterprise wants $450.00 from me for damage. I say it is Toyota defect. What do you think?

Joe Dawyot

It cost me over $800 to get my 2001 Tundra SR-5 smogged, because the Oxy sensor went bad. Why can't these things be made easier to change so it doesn't cost so much! This is totally rediculous, off the scale stupid! Or...Toyota should warranty them for the life of the vehicle. It was the SECOND one to go bad, but the first one was covered by warranty of 25K mi. It got fused into the manafold so they had to put a new manafold in. I would have caused me thousands of dollars if it had not been on warranty at the time. These people are IDIOTS! MY WIFE'S TOYOTA COROLLA - She had some wacko girl pull infront of her broadside and ran into her causing the air bag to go off on BOTH SIDES. This in itself is a stupid when there's only one person (driver) in the car. Now it costs the price of TWO airbags to replace for no reason. POINT #2: The little fly-out door covering the rider's side air bag flyes up and BREAKS THE WINDSHIELD. Now this is really stupid!! Now we gotta get a new windshield...for no reason!!! $250 right off the bat!!! There is a way to make the Oxy sensor replacable for less that $800. Also they should make the rider's side air bag selectable for turning on and off or put a sensor in the seat to tell if it's occupied. And...correct the flyout door over that air bag so it does not BREAK THE DAMM WINDSHIELD if the air bag goes off!

Spent $21,000 on a 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4-door, 4 wheel drive. We spent the money knowing Toyota's reputation for lasting a long time and their customer service. Now with only 92,000 miles the piston blew out and bent a valve (motor is trashed). I filed a complaint with Toyota and they are unwilling to help out. There is no warranty for this. There has been 5 Toyota's in our immediate family but this will be our last. We were told by Toyota we should have taken it to the dealer every 30,000 miles to have the coolant drained/ changed. Our mechanic said they were blowing smoke. If a Toyota motor can't make it to 92,000 miles, we've been ripped off.

Tawnya Wood

MY ENGINE WENT IN MY RAV 4 AND THEY BLAMED ME SAID I RAN IT WITHOUT OIL 56,000 MILES ON IT SOMETHING MADE THE OIL BLOW OUT AND IT DIED. TOYOTA SENT ME AN E-MAIL TELLING ME HOW AN ENGINE WORKS DUH, MY HUSBAND IS MY MECHANIC THEY SAY THE ENGINE LIGHTS WONT COME ON UNTIL IT IS OUT OF OIL, WHAT GOOD ARE OIL LIGHTS AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS THEN?

CHERYL BUCCINI

I bought a new 2008 toyota camry with the residual based financing and upon reviewing the papers at home I realized that I had leased the car and that is not what I wanted. I wanted to buy the car and not lease it, I did go back to the dealership and they told me that it was an iron clad contract and there was nothing that they could do. I am so angry and I feel as if they took advantage of me because I am a woman. I would like to know how I can go over their head and file a complaint with somebody higher up. They may have made a profit off of me but they lost a customer and I will tell all my friends and family how I was treated.

vickie bruce

Lost job. Went to downsize, FJ only 9 months old/ depreciated $9000.00 according to a different Toyota dealership. Teton Toyota told me we got ripped and I want this made right/ tried to get help. Phil Meador will not help us resolve this problem.

Teresa Elston

Hey, love the website. As everyone else, I was stunned by the Toyota cover-up (although I really shouldn't have been). I heard how people were supporting local industry and going back to American cars which I thought was great; and the first thing that came to mind was Don McLean's Miss American Pie. I made a Toyota Recall parody with this in mind and I'm writing you to ask if you would please put it up on your site. Here's a link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mVwB02YwRg Regards,

Charlie

why do dealerships ignore warranty problems and expect the consumer to pay up front? It seems that the consumer has to do all of the research on recalls and then bring it to the dealerships attention. How does the dealership profit from ignoring customer safety? Which Toyota dealership is to be trusted in the Las Vegas Valley?

Sylvia Lafferty

Complaint about stuff, so unpleasant, unprofesional, don't answer the call, yelling on you or try to tell you if we have a snow 18"-20" we no need a 4x4, some stupid advice we take car toyota 4 runner for some problem with 4x4 they don't fix after we come to pick a car the fog light missing and broke and they give us keys to drive home I say no no no car stay until you guys fix that same as before. This happend in a new toyota dealer burlington NJ phone 609-386-6300. Thay always give us hard time and we don't know why this first time that something happened. Thank's god ,usually we don't have any problems good car But somebody need to do something about people that work there. Thank you

mirsad kljuco

we needed the latch from our trunk fixed. There werent any other problems and the bumper was un touched. And all repairs of locks and doors were under our warranty. But they argued that the car had been in a major accident and that the bumper had been replaced by a 3rd party. This was absolutely not the case. But they argued and argued for 3 hours, sometimes in a very rude manner. Toyota is a terrible company and unless they change their behavior they will lose more and more customers. But me and my family are getting rid of our toyota if thats how were going to be treated. Good bye toyota youve just lost a loyal 10 year customer.

Mohammad Awais

I hate toyota commercials I think that the idiots who make the commercials and the whole upper management should get a free pre-recall Prius. I totaly hate the cars as well. I would pay good money to see the media team of toyota have to drive the deathtraps they push on the american public. every time I watch tv they are shoveing toyota down the throats of tv consumers their should be a law against it. Kind regards

Patrick

My girlfriend and I laugh at Toyota's tagline: "Moving forward." Her first and last Toyota had a piece-o-shit automatic transmission that locked out of all the forward gears and she had to drive BACKWARDS over several miles of Nebraska two-lane highway, hoping no one would plow into her. It had lots of problems, and it was symbolic that it broke down near a small Colorado town called Last Chance! Indeed. She got it because Consumer Reports et al. lauded it. In the years since, she has ignored the magazine and currently has one that C.R. likes to hate: a Dodge Neon. It's been a dependable, solid car.

Dan Muldoon

I don't know if this is a valid complaint, or not. I was quite upset by the fact that my husband and I purchased a brand new Toyota Tacoma, with all bells and whistles and spent $27,000, but the security system does not 'beep the horn' to assure you that the doors are locked and security is set. When my husband inquired about this, they indicated that was a special package, which he did NOT purchase. I would have thought that by spending that much money, that would have come standard, number one, and secondly -- if not come standard, should have replaced for free since significant purchase.

Mighty Toyota has fallen and fallen hard. For all you Toyota buyers who swear that foreign cars are high in quality I hope you all choke on your Camrys and Tundras. Toyota SUCKS

Greg

To whom it may concern: I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction with my 2001

Toyota Corolla. I purchased this vehicle as a used car in 2005 while it was still under

it's 5 year, 50,000 mile warranty. This was my second Toyota vehicle that I have owned. I

purchased a new 2002 Toyota Sienna minivan in November 2002. When purchased my 2001 Toyota

Corolla I thought it would be a dependable and reliable car for my son as he went away to

college. I felt very sure the car would last him for his 4 year college career - given all

the good things I had heard about Toyota products. Many Toyota owners have told me of their

cars that they have driven 120, 150, 180 thousand miles - with no problems. I thought I had

nothing to worry about. Boy was I wrong! The warranty expired on my 2001 Toyota Corolla

sometime in 2006. Recently I noticed a 'ticking' sound in the engine. I checked the oil and

it was slightly low. I did a complete oil change including filter and the 'ticking'

stopped. Three months later the ticking was back - and getting louder. That is why I took

the vehicle to Toyota on Nicholasville. I was shocked when they told me the next day that

my engine had a "spun bearing" and that it was a "non-serviceable repair" - the engine

would have to be replaced! Needless to say I'm stunned. The car that I was sure would be

trouble free for many years needs a new engine - a $4,200.00 repair that, with a son in

college, I cannot afford. I cannot believe my Toyota has a blown engine with only 54,000

miles! In October 2007 I received a notice from Toyota Motor Manufacturing that my other

Toyota vehicle, 2002 Sienna minivan, was also part of a nationwide recall. It seems that

the engine is susceptible to "oil gelling" (sludge) buildup. I took my minivan in to be

evaluated and found out that it's engine was also damaged beyond repair - it would have to

be replaced too. But since the engine in this vehicle was part of the nationwide oil

gelling settlement, the repair was covered. This means that BOTH of my Toyota vehicles -

each with LESS than 55,000 miles - have to have their engines replaced! As my 2001 Corolla

sits idle in my driveway (waiting for me to find $5,000.00 to repair it) I began

researching on the web why a "spun bearing" on a Toyota vehicle is a 'non-serviceable'

repair. As someone that has worked on cars and motors all my life this makes no sense to

me. I eventually came across Toyota's "oil gel settlement agreement" at

www.oilgelsettlement.com. I think it's very interesting that a 2001 4 cylinder Camry and

2001 4 cylinder Solara have had their warranties extended to 8 years, 80,000 miles. But a

2001 4 cylinder Corolla? No, they are fine - Yeah, right. I also think it's interesting

that, judging from the years of the models in the settlement, it took Toyota Motor

Manufacturing almost 10 years to even acknowledge there was a problem. What this tells me

is that Toyota Motor Manufacturing is only interested in making a buck. You may "talk the

talk" that you value your customers being "completely satisfied" but you sure don't "walk

the walk". Needless to say I have lost all confidence in your products. In my lifetime I

have owned Fords, Pontiacs, Buicks, Chevrolet, GMC, and Dodge vehicles. Each of these

vehicles had over 100,000 miles on then when I traded them in. None of these vehicles ever

had to have the motor replaced - not a one of them. How ironic that BOTH of my Toyota

vehicles have had to have their engines replaced and BOTH of them happened in the past 6

months and BOTH of them have less than 55,000 miles on them. No wonder Toyota lost their

"highly recommended" status from Consumer Reports recently. With the kind of track record

you have with me - it's easy to see why. I don't suspect I'll ever hear anything back from

this letter. It's ironic that nobody from Toyota Motor Manufacturing has asked what they

can do to ensure I am "Completely Satisfied" with my 2001 Corolla experience. It's

interesting that those all important questions just don't get asked when you go from

"potential purchase" customer to a "needs service" customer.

My 2001 Landcruiser is rusting all over. I have been battling rust for years on this SUV and I am losing the fight. What is going on? Where is the Toyota quality?

Joe Gonzalez

This is not a complaint against a dealer directly but rather about the increasingly bad quality of Toyota in general. My

drivers side door hand broke off while I was in the car. I would consider it somewhat of a safety issue as well as an

inconvience not being able to get out of my car. I called a dealer in reference to the issue and they just laughed at me and said this happens all the time what would I expect the handles are plastic. I would expect to be able to get in and out of my car I have never in my life had a door handle snap off but according to the dealer it is quite common with Toyotas. We called Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. twice and I sent them an email they will not fix it because it is not covered under warranty. I guess they don't care if people can get in and out of their cars.

I have had nothing but problems with my 2007 Rav4 V6. I have a very loud knock now in my motor with 55k on it, which I complained about at 51k as well, but now it is there even warm. Really loud cold. Was told by the dealer it is now normal after I took it in and they said it was the VVTi gear TSB 0094-09. Only this did nothing for the knock. When I took it back, they now said it was a normal piston friction knock and compared it too another they had. I went there and demanded to hear the other vehicle they said they tested and they could not produce it, but instead tried a 2008 with 70k miles which was quiet as could be..The service manager then got upset and said he would get a rep to come out and listen too it, but they would likely say it was within tol erance and not do anything. I am considering suing Toyota for repairs, since it is under warranty, and who would I name in the lawsuit besides the dealer..?

Rob Manley

Hi we own a 2009 corolla on the roof there are two spots where the paint is starting to blister which they are saying are from a rock chip which they are not. They say they can do nothing for us which is very frustrating the car is still new,we are totally pissed off and dont know where to turn.

Allen Deyoung

Failed to give me documents for my car repair. I brought my car back and forth for 3 times but they could not fix it

Ben

Bought a used 2001 Prius from my doctor. He had changed the battery in 2008. The battery went out again about a month ago. The dealer says that there is only a 1 year guarantee after they replaced the battery. I called Toyota Corp and Mr. Ariedonda said tough luck. I was hoping they would share the. Cost. $3,000, no way. never again a Toyota

Tom Hassey

Bad ECM on 2005 Toyota Corolla. Well documented problem that Toyota chooses not to fix. Safety issued if car stalls. 1st I was told that this car just shifts hard from 2 different dealers. Now that it's over 80k no warranty. The 1-800# is a joke. Complaint filed with Toyota. Toyota Response? Sorry. Nothing we can do at this time. I'm selling my Toyota and Lexus and going back to Honda and Acura. Toyota can run all the commercials they want telling us how safe their cars are but the American people know better. Toyota sales and service has always been bad why should it improve now that people are dying?

Tyson

My RAV-4 kept turning off and shutting down. It would suddenly accelerate and then kick back. Took it to the dealership who said they had to update my computer system, cost me $1,500 and b/c my warranty had expired, wouldn't cover the expense even though it was a design defect!!! Called corporate, they said there was nothing that they could do, gave no reason, and told me I can write a letter if I wanted. Anyone have this same issue? Let's band together and go to the media!!! I have receipts to prove it all! Fortunately I was lucky and didn't lose my life during the sudden accelerations. Rest in Peace

I own a 2005 Highlander. Since day one, there was a 'bubble' spot on both side mirrors. The bubble grew like a blister and eventually it popped. Come to find out, the mirrors were never primed prior to painting. Although I brought it up to the dealer's attention while still a dime size blister and still under warranty, they did nothing about it. Now, 6 years later, my mirrors have peeled. Toyota assumes no responsibility.

Our Camry has 44,000 miles on it. We are now told we need a new transmission ($3,000). Our warranty is over and Toyota refused to offer any assistance.

When I had my 2008 Toyota RAV in for a recall service item, they discovered my passenger side front window's motor was broken. The car had 30,500 miles on it and given that the "warranty' had expired 3 months before due to the lesser of 36 months or 36,000 warranty, Toyota kindly offered to pay for the part if I paid for the $250 in labor. Sorry, but not good enough...you don't expect that a motor for an electric window will fail on a 3 year old Toyota. I called Toyota's Corporate Customer service which is incorrectly named and they told me they would not override the decision of the Toyota Corporate District Manager and I would need to pay for the labor. Did I mention the car has another "recall" on it for an airbag issue that can't be fixed by Toyota until approx 3 months from now due to parts not being available. Funny, how Toyota thinks that as a customer it is no big deal for me to take time off work to get my car into their shop, be without a car for a day while it is being fixed for a recall item and that I should have no problem paying for labor to replace a part that should not have failed in the first place.

I PURCHASED A TOYOTA SOLARA CONVERTIBLE AS A CERTIFIED VEHICLE GOING ON TWO YEARS IT IS A 2007 BLACK TOP AND PEARL BOTTOM. TO MY SURPRISE THE WHOLE HOOD IS PEELING. I TOOK IT TO THE TOYOTA BODY SHOP AND THE DAMAGE IS $1282.10, AND IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE 'BUMPER TO BUMPER' WARRANTY. THIS IS NOT FAIR I NEED SOME ANSWERS

I have a 2005 Avalon with 57,500 miles that I was just told needed a new a Condenser Dryer for $820. I tried TMC in Ca but they screw me. I will talking to the Dealer Tomorrow who has been servicing this since it was new. I've been driving for 50 years and have plenty of Junk USA cars but i don't remember this has happened at 57500 miles.

Hi, Just a question that has been bothering me. How many complaints are there regarding Toyota's "speeding/accelerator" type accidents have their been outside USA. Just a question, seems like all complaints are coming from USA. How bout Japan? No one seems to be dying in Japan from driving Japan. Why is this problem just isolated to USA?

Spent 21,000 on a 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4-door, 4 wheel drive. We spent the money knowing Toyota's reputation for lasting a long time and their customer service. Now with only 92,000 miles the piston broke apart and bent a valve. The motor is trashed. I filed a complaint with Toyota and they are unwilling to help out. There is no warranty for this? And to say that we have to use their crooked dealers for all maintenance is just another reason to buy Honda!

I had a dangerous steering problem with a new Toyota Corolla 2009. The Dealer said it was common. Toyota Motor Corp wouldn't get anyone to inspect the car. I traded in the Corolla for a different 2009 Corolla. And works fine - but since it was "Used" after 1 month. Had to pay $1300.

Complaint filed with Toyota. Toyota Response: Your Toyota Corolla is with-in working tolerance.

If there is EVER a recall on steering I want my $1300 back.

I would not suggest an FJ cruiser for anyone who intends on driving it in weather that is less than 30 degrees F. WHich is not very cold at all, many places in the world get much colder. My FJ has a serious problem with ice. At a mere 27 degrees F the entire tank holding all of the windsheild wiper fluid has turned to slush. At every stop light you will need to get out and clear the ice frrom them, even when you do the wipers still dont work right.

Terrible truck for the money.

Purchased a new 2006 Toyota Truck Tundra. Since purchase date have had brake problems. 16K miles now in 2010 and still no resolution to problem.

Complaint filed with Toyota. Toyota Response: The dealer has inspected the brakes finding nothing wrong w/them. VERY WRONG this vehicle has a serious brake problem. Their service tech said "my problem was due to poor quality materials used for the brakes, but not a safety issue! I found the Toyota service reps very friendly but that's it, they only talk and no resolution to my break problem

6/7/10 Toyota Complaints Dept. To Whom It May Concern: On June 7, 2010, I called Team Toyota located at 1000 Blairs Bridge Road, Lithia Springs, GA 30122, 770 941-1200 to get a cost of how much it would cost me to have the scheduled maintenance of 60,000/72 months service on my car. I was told the cost to me would be $225.00. Then I told her that I did not need to have the oil changed or the tires rotated, this has already been done. She then told me that it would cost me $165.00 without the oil change and the tire rotation. I then proceeded to call some of the other Toyota dealerships and the prices were absolutely huge. Sandy Springs Toyota located at 6475 Rosewell Road, Atlanta, GA, 404 256-3392 and they quoted me a price of $495.00, without the oil change and tire rotation it would be $33.00 deducted from the $495.00. Nalley Toyota of Roswell located at 11130 Alpharetta Highway, Roswell, GA 30076, 770 619-5020 quoted me price of $500.00; without the oil changed it would be $450.00. This is what prompted me to write this letter. Their prices should be posted as to how much they charge for whatever services you get. I do not think it is ethical, legal or morally right for a business not to list prices, so people know what they are getting and what they have to pay for. I am afraid to take my car to any of them because of this price gouging they are doing. I know they have problems which they brought upon themselves. And not they are trying to make us pay for it. I am forwarding a copy of this letter to the Better Business Bureau; the Consumer Protection Agency and Toyota. I would appreciate any help or assistance I can get in this matter, because I do not think this is fair or right.

I have taken my car back to toyota (3) times last year and 1 this year for defective warranty problems. last year toyota left the oil cap off after servicing the engine and oil spilled all inside my engine compartment. I have been dealing with various problems ever since. Now my car is in the shop again and they will not accommodate me for the inconvenience. I am very unhappy with toyota! incompetent dealers are certainly an issue that toyota can fix.

Bad ECM on 2005 Toyota Corolla. Well documented problem that Toyota chooses not to fix. Safety issue if car stalls. 1st I was told that this car just shifts hard from 2 different dealers. Now that it's over 80k no warranty. The 1-800# is a joke. Complaint filed with Toyota. Toyota Response: Sorry. Nothing we can do at this time. I'm selling my Toyota and Lexus and going back to Honda and Acura. Toyota can run all the commercials they want telling us how safe their cars are but the American people know better. Toyota sales and service has always been bad why should it improve now that people are dying?

My vehicle is 2 years old, and granted my warranty is up, my sunroof seal is leaking. I find at least an inch of water on the floor of my backseat that I have to vacuum and basically sanitize constantly because of the musty smell. Also, the 6 disc cd player blew. These are things I find absolutely ridiculous on such a new vehicle. I've called toyota multiple times on the issue and they are not willing to help at all. I would think that with all the bad publicity this company is currently dealing with, they would work a little harder to make the customers who are actually making an effort to stay with them happier, before they have yet another class action lawsuit on their hands.

I taken my toyota tacoma to a toyota dealer to find out whats making my truck pop when I hit a bump. They couldn't find the problem but they sure could charge me money. They got all them computers and can't fix my truck. They said they were gonna contact me back, but I haven't heard from them. Thanks for nothing! I am disappointed in toyota.

Toyota completely screwed me. They would not repair my car that had the same problems as many other cars of my make and model, i spent $3k to fix it. Then they send me a letter recognizing the exact same problem and say they will reimburse me - I send in my receipts and they say I am not eligible for no particular reason. Spent hours on the phone, this is going on over a year now - they owe me $3k ... any advice on how to get it back? OH and Toyota Sucks!

The water bottle fell out of the cup holder in my 2010 Toyota Camry twice while I was driving in 2010. The water bottle ended up in the driver's side and was rolling around near the accelerator and brakes. I could have gotten myself killed if it got stuck underneath the accelerator or somehow prevented me from pressing on the brakes. I've stopped using the cup holder.

The claim is about Toyota RAV4 2010 AWD Limited. About week ago, I got a flat tire (rear passenger side) in the middle of my trip from Philadelphia to Virginia. On the highway, the flat tire was replaced with the original spare tire by using Toyota tools bought with RAV4. Week later, a new tire was mounted on the original wheel to replace the spare tire. While unscrewing wheel lugs to take the spare tire off, four out of five studs came out from the rotor and got loose. Car can not be driven with loose studs under any circumstances, and studs must be replaced. I believe it is a manufacturer defect, which must be also investigated by the US safety department. The claim was filed at www.safercar.gov, claim number 10375465. Toyota dealer (at Leesburg, VA, www.leesburgtoyota.com) denied that this is a manufacturer defect, and Toyota denied to cover repair cost by the manufacturer 3 year warranty. The complaint was filed with the Toyota Customer Experience Center (800.331.4331), and the assigned report number is 1101102113. Toyota dealer said that the problem was caused by either lugs were not tighten enough or were over tighten. The dealer's answer are not satisfied, because if the lugs were not tight, then there were marks on studs from wheel hits. There are no marks, and the tracks of studs are perfect. The term "over tightened lug" is unclear. There are no specific details about what exact force should be applied to tightening lugs in the Toyota manual. The tire lugs must be very tight for a safe driving. I'm looking for a qualified mechanic, who don't work for Toyota, to get a second opinion on my problem.

2001 toyota tundra, frame rusted, drive way full of rust stains. They will not do anything until through hole. I have 16 more months to get that but I want to sell it and no one will but it due to the rust issue. My brother owns a 2001 tacoma no rust at all but toyota completely coated the entire frame an undercarriage. I told then this and I got the blanket statement of that is a different program. toyota Sucks!!!!

I bought my 1979 Toyota in 1979 and now my mechanic charged me over $600.00 to tell me that Toyota does not make the parts I need anymore (carburetor, etc) and it cost me $125.00 for wrecker bills and when I bought my Toyota in 1979 the dealer told me it would last me my lifetime. I am in tears. I can not afford to spend another penny on this truck. The body is in excellent condition, but the motor is not being made by Toyota anymore. What can I do. I am a woman and I don't know what to do. Please advise me. Do i try to sell it and who would buy it if Toyota don't have the parts anymore. Would Toyota put a newer motor in it or are they just like all other big corporations?

In December 2007, I was driving a 1994 Lexus that accelerated to the point were the car flipped somewhere between 5 to 7 times. I easied down on the brakes because it was raining. I could not just slam on the brakes. The car just kept on flipping and flipping. It flipped so many times that I just started praying because I didn't know when it would end. I just said what I thought would be my last prayer and that GOD would take care of my husband and son. I told the police officer that the car seemed to have a mind of it own and accelerated on its own.

It's been a dependable, solid car
